Participants will be introduced to the latest version of FCP, the most current editing software used in the industry. They will grasp the roles and responsibilities of the different departments within film: direction, camera and lighting, art direction, sound, editing, costume design, music, and so on. While some of them might like to direct, others with a more artistic bent of mind might be attracted towards art direction; some students are fascinated by the mechanics of the camera; others are musically oriented; film accommodates people with varied talents, and helps you define your particular brand of creativity.
